He was the best-dressed zombie at the party.

He knew how to turn some heads.

He rose up and shouted,

“I’m really better off dead.

It’s lots of fun being noticed

While chomping on your best friend’s head.

I’m having a gourmet moment

Now I’d rather eat you instead.

 

About the Author

Galen wrote over a thousand songs before he reached the age of 17 and thousands more since. He became a rock n’ roll performer, audio engineer, composer, promoter, along with being a cutter and wholesaler of gemstones. He’s written children’s books, adult novels, poems, stories, movie treatments, magazine and newspaper articles along with a potpourri of multi media advertising and humor. He shared a writing credit with Ralph Nader while serving as a writer in Jerry Brown’s presidential campaign. He has just finished a sci-fi fantasy, “When Robots Dream”.
